The Booking and Marketing Assistant supports the Booking Department by managing and maintaining the booking database and maintaining the tracking and distribution of reports, contracts, tech riders, venue insurance forms and meeting notes. Additionally, this role supports the Marketing Director and provides general administrative and clerical support for the NETworks headquarters in Columbia, Maryland. The Booking and Marketing Assistant reports to the Senior Director of Booking and Engagements and the Director of Marketing.

Major Responsibilities:
Serve as the Booking and Engagements Assistant
• Coordinate all documentation for each engagement
• Track, chase, and distribute venue contracts and tech riders
• Manage and maintain the booking database, including auditing and uploading settlements and routes and generating weekly reports and analyses
• Ensure all necessary tax waiver applications are submitted and processed in a timely manner
• Request Certificates of Insurance for venues as needed
• Maintain filing systems and archives, including scanning documents as needed
• Take and distribute notes from booking calls
• Support the Booking Department as needed
Provide assistance to the Director of Marketing
• Consolidate and distribute wrap reports
• Update show and corporate websites as needed
• Review and assist with marketing materials as needed
• Monitor and post on social media accounts as needed
• Collect press clippings and reviews
Provide general administrative support for the office
• Scanning, filing, and providing general administrative assistance to the Finance Department
• Answer office phones as necessary

Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Proficient with computers, specifically Microsoft Office programs
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, collaborative and organized
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to write clearly
• Excellent phone manner
• Ability to work with multiple departments inside and outside of the Maryland office
• Love of theatre a plus
• Experience working with social media channels a plus.
